Radon exposure testing during work for mines and places of work

Radon exposure testing using special gauges approved by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK)

Employees’ exposure to radon during work should be assessed if radon concentrations exceeding the set threshold value (400Bq/m³) are observed during long term testing. Radon concentrations in indoor air may vary depending on the time of day due to scheduled air conditioning, for example.

Radon exposure testing during work is performed using special calibrated, non-stop gauges approved by the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK). Our experts perform the testing and report their findings according to regulations set by the Finnish authorities. Radon exposure testing during work should at the minimum cover a period of seven (7) consecutive days between 1 November and 30 April.

We perform workplace radon testing throughout Finland.
