3. Purpose of processing personal data
The purpose of processing personal data is to manage customer relationships and to observe the rights and responsibilities of both Suomen radonhallinta Oy and its customers. Personal data as intended in the Personal Data Act is also processed in order to provide services related to radon gauging, analysis, laboratory testing and analysing test results.

5. Regular data sources for the register
The data stored in the register is acquired: Directly from customers, as part of the provision of services, from site reports drafted by installers and/or the radon laboratory
6. Regular handing over of data
The data controller will only hand over the necessary data to contractual partners providing laboratory services, and the results of radon analyses are only handed over based on postal codes. Suomen radonhallinta Oy never hands over customer data to third parties unless it is required to do so by the Finnish authorities.
7. Transfer of data outside of the EU or the ETA
No data stored in the register will be transferred outside of the EU or the ETA.
8. Removal of data
Data may be removed from the register based on a customer request or due to it reaching the end of its retainment period.
9. Data protection principles
All data is stored confidentially in information networks owned by Suomen radonhallinta Oy and Radonova Ab. Firewalls and other technical measures have been implemented to protect the hardware used for storing personal data.
10. Right of non-disclosure
Customers have the right to prevent the disclosure and processing of their data for direct marketing and other marketing purposes. Customers can send their requests for non-disclosure in writing or via e-mail to Suomen radonhallinta Oy.
11. Right of inspection
Data subjects are entitled to inspect the data stored on them in the register.
